The Process

As an Authorised Celebrant, I am committed to providing a ceremony that is unique to you.

​I will work with you to plan all aspects of the ceremony from the legal requirements to your choice of vows; from music to readings and/or poetry and a rehearsal that will make it all come together to ensure that your special day is all that you have dreamed it would be.

Step 1 – Initial contact

Once you have completed the contact form, I will call or email you back within 48hrs. I will ask you a variety of questions regarding your upcoming ceremony in order to provide you with a quotation.  If you like what you hear and want to book a ceremony a deposit of $100 is requested, once your deposit is paid I will be available to help you plan your special occasion and deliver it as discussed, for a wedding ceremony please follow steps 2-5 below. 

Step 2 – Meet up 

Between 18 months and 1 month prior to the ceremony we meet up and complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) together, a deposit of  $100 is required for completion of the NOIM.  This meeting is also a great time to discuss your ceremony in detail including vows, music, readings etc , if you need help with any of these items, I am only a call, email or facetime away.

Step 3 – Rehearsal

A rehearsal is a great way for me to get the lay of the land.  If you do not request a rehearsal you may still find me visiting the location prior to your big day.  Feel free to join me whilst I visit your chosen location.

​Step 4 – The ceremony

On the day I will arrive well before the ceremony.  I’ll bring with me any needed items e.g. PA System, table or chairs (for the couple).  The ceremony will be delivered as discussed, we’ll sign some paperwork, I’ll pronounce you married and issue you with a marriage certificate and a keepsake of your ceremony.

Step 5 – Afterwards

After the ceremony, I will lodge the legal forms we signed to Births, Deaths and Marriages.  If you need any further information regarding applying for your official marriage certificate or changing your name just give me a call.
